Bay County Tax Collector offices will be closed on Monday, December 31 and Tuesday, January 1, 2019 to celebrate the new year.

Governor Scott has extended the New Year’s holiday for state offices to include both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day to reward state employees for their hard work throughout the year and in response to Hurricane Michael recovery. Tax Collector Chuck Perdue is following the Governor’s lead and extending the extra day to the team members of the Bay County Tax Collector’s Office who have worked tirelessly this past year and especially the weeks following the storm. To ensure no citizens are adversely impacted, all tax payments postmarked by December 31 and all payments in our drop box at 8 AM on January 2 will receive the 4% discount. Many services are available on our website 24/7.

Customers are encouraged to visit BayTaxCollector.com during the office closure to access information and online services.

The Tax Collector’s Beach, Callaway, and Panama City Offices will be open until 4:30 PM on December 26, 27, and 28. Citizens planning a visit to the office are encouraged to access the OnMYWay feature on the baytaxcollector.com website or the QLess App to join the line remotely and minimize the lobby wait.
