BAY COUNTY, FL-  Bay County property tax notices mailed November 1 and the tax roll is officially open for collection. Taxpayers paying by November 30 will receive the 4% discount as noted on their tax notice. Online payments can be made at and are encouraged to minimize lobby traffic.

            “We want to remind taxpayers tax notices are in the mail, but they can access their current year tax information online. The online tax collection system allows customers to easily locate account information, pay multiple accounts at one time, see payment history and print a receipt,” said Tax Collector Chuck Perdue. “Payment can be made online by check, debit or credit card. There is no added convenience fee for those who select bank account (e-check) as the payment method at checkout when paying current year taxes.”

 Tax payments can also be mailed or dropped in after-hours drop boxes available at each office. Taxpayers who require a trip to the office can minimize their lobby wait by joining the line remotely before they arrive. They can join the line at by selecting the appointment link or through the QLess Queuing App on a smartphone.
