Driver License Testing
Driver license testing, both written and driving tests, end at 3:30 p.m. daily. Appointments are required to take the test both written and road tests. Individuals taking the written test have up to one hour to test.
If taking a driving test, please be sure you are familiar with the vehicle you will be testing in. It is important the vehicle is clean and car features are in working order, including seat belts, horn, headlights, brake lights and turn signals. Who must take a Class E knowledge exam?
- Individuals who downgraded to an ID card for one year or more due to a sanction
- Individuals with a Florida license expired for one year or more
- Out-of-State license holder expired for one year or more
- Applicants who did not obtain a Class E license within one year of passing the Class E knowledge exam
